Ginger’s Road on Earth Ends

Sadly, Ginger died this afternoon. Her health had begun to deteriorate several months ago. She was a very special and meaningful dog to us.

Michelle’s life-altering journey began at Ball State University in Muncie, Ind., where she was a junior majoring in journalism when she was told that her younger sister Denise had ended her life in March 1993. Daisy’s photo selected for Save-An-Angel 2011 calendar

Daisy’s photo was randomly selected for the Save-An-Angel 2011 calendar that benefits helping dogs receive treatment for canine (lymphoma) cancer. She’s on the April page– in the top right corner. It’s obvious she’s Michelle’s dog because of the 1960s flowered cushion on the chair behind her (heehee). See the calendar here and more information on Save-An-Angel can be found here.

Daisy’s Struggle with Cancer

Following Daisy’s death by hemangiosarcoma in December 2009, the Linn-Gusts have adopted a German Shepherd rescue puppy, Gidget. Read more about Daisy’s struggle with cancer, the addition of Gidget, and life with the Linn-Gust dogs on the blog.
