Meet Michelle Linn-Gust

Michell Linn-GustMichelle Linn-Gust is an international author and speaker about suicide prevention and postvention issues. She also is the author of Ginger’s Gift: Hope and Healing Through Dog Companionship.

Her first book, Do They Have Bad Days in Heaven? Surviving the Suicide Loss of a Sibling, inspired siblings around the world in their survival after a loved one’s suicide. She currently serves as the President-Elect for the American Association of Suicidology and her most recent book is Rocky Roads: The Journeys of Families through Suicide Grief.

She earned her doctorate in Family Studies at the University of New Mexico where her dissertation study focused on how people use a dog to help them cope with the death of a human loved one.

She lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with her husband, Joe Gust, and their four dogs: Chaco, Nestle, Gidget, and Hattie. Visit her at www.michellelinngust.com.
